There are many original games available on Xbox Live Arcade. One example is the new release from this week which is Axel & Pixel. This game, developed by Silver Wish Games, uses both digitized and hand drawn art to help create the impression that you are in a dream world which you must help Axel and his dog Pixel escape from.
This game is a combination of classic adventure and puzzle genres. Help Axel and Pixel past a bunch of different obstacles as the move through four seasons. These obstacles are either natural or created by your enemy including getting a big bee out of your way or putting puzzles together.
You must use patience in order to solve these puzzles using the magic cursor to explore the scene. These puzzles are all tricky. If you ever do get stuck then you do have hints that you can access on each level. If you keep your hint usage to a minimum, however, then you can unlock awards and minigames.
This game is one of those games that is fun for you to play along with the entire family, especially the younger kids and adults.
