Twitter, Facebook and Last.fm to Xbox 360 soon

Major Nelson, a worker for Microsoft, has notified many people that the Microsoft company has released an Xbox 360 update that at the moment does not do anything special. However, this update is prepared for the upcoming release of the Twitter, Last.fm and Facebook use on the console. Major Nelson wrote:

“Sometime over the next few hours when you sign in to Xbox Live you’ll receive a prompt to accept this mandatory update. If you are signed into Live already, you may be signed out and asked to accept the update and you’ll be back online in a few moments. There are no new features or changes in this update. This update is preparation for additional system enhancements (Facebook/Twitter/Last.FM) that will arrive later this year.”

I think that the number of users that decide to use any of these new functions will either be a very high number or hardly anybody at all. I am definitely in favor of the expanding of the different functions for the Xbox 360. However, there are many people that actually do not even care for these new features including mostly the social networking people.

Which of these features, if any, are you looking forward to most?
