Gears of War 2 Weekend

Epic Games has made an announcement, regarding the game Gears of War 2, that will create for a great Labor Day weekend. They announced that they will be holding a special Labor Day Double XP weekend. It will start on Friday (September 4th) and go until Tuesday morning (September 8th). Here are a few more details on what you can expect.

Double experience for all Horde games and Public multiplayer games

The winning team will receive a 500 XP bonus in Public multiplayer

Public Horde will default to Hardcore difficulty instead of just Normal

Horde will be infected with Sires, just like the Ticker attack of July 4th

Hardcore Horde (Public or Private) will have an extra experience boost (essentially double Hardcore will be the same as double Insane)

These details are not everything. One other thing you will be able to do is put your skills to the test against one of the game’s developers. This opportunity will take place on Friday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM EST.
