Bass Pro Shops: The Strike is a new game coming to the Xbox on Tuesday, September 8th. Many realistic features and unique effects are bundled into this game to create for what feels like a real fishing trip. There is a couple different game modes you can play in. These game modes are Quick Fish, Career, Bass Pro Shops Invitational Tournament or you can compete against others in boat racing and casting challenges. The following features can all be found in this game.
A realistic fishing rod controller is used. This controller allows for you to feel like your really in the game with the realistic feedback you receive from the controller when casting, jigging, setting the hook or reeling in a fish.
This game can appeal to all ages as there is four different modes of play. At least one of these modes will capture each gamer.
The Strike uses the advanced Infernal Engine. This provides some great effects for the game including great water effects above and below the water, different and realistic light effects depending on the time of the day, 3-D fish in high quality and realistic movements from the fish and lures.
Out of North America, ten of the greatest lakes were selected for this game. You will be able to recognize unique landmarks and realistic views and even fish in your own favorite fishing spot.
Stack up your own high scores and try to appear on the leader board. Xbox 360 players will have their fishing stats posted to the leader board for the world to see.
