Doom II: Hell on Earth will soon be headed to Xbox Live Arcade. This intriguing announcement was made recently by the Id Software’s CEO at a recent QuakeCon press conference. No set dates have been released yet. However it is believed that it will be available pretty soon as it is now playable on th show floor. Along with no set release date, the price is also unknown to the public. Nerve Software, the same company that brought the first Doom to Xbox Live, will also be handling Doom II: Hell on Earth.
This newer and better version of the 1994 Doom II: Hell on Earth being brought to Xbox Live includes an entirely new episode along with all of the original Doom II: Hell on Earth content. Along with online play, a screen split four ways will be available to allow multiplayer action. This game will be rated Mature due to animated violence and realistic looking blood.
If you have ever played Doom then you know what you can expect. With new and exciting episodes and features, Doom II: Hell on Earth will definitely be worth playing.
