November 10th will be a very busy and exciting day for gamers across the country. This is the day on which Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released in the United States. Expectations about this game are very high. Many predicti0ns guess that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is going to be a record breaking title with amount of sales. GameStop, which is known as the biggest video game selling store in the world, has predicted that there is going to be a very large number of sales for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. GameStop believes that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the anticipated Shooter game sequel from Infinity Ward, could in fact be the highest selling game ever made. When asked about predictions regarding the outlook of the fall financial sales, COO of GameStop Paul Raines said that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will most likely be a record breaking title. Paul Raines said, "Although we have seen some title slippages, we still see a strong fall lineup, led by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Assassin's Creed II, and Halo 3: ODST, and expect that Modern Warfare 2 could be the best selling title of all-time." Vice President of Marketing Tony Bartel agreed with this prediction. "We believe Modern Warfare 2 has a chance to be the largest title of all-time, and obviously we're basing that on the reservation activity that we are seeing in our stores," Bartel said. "We have very strong reservations on the Call of Duty premium edition. There is a lot of excitement around the goggles on that. Once that was announced, we had a lot of reservations move from the base version to the premium version, which is a very good sign," added Tony Bartel. If you are planning on buying this game the day it releases, you better be prepared for a high amount of crazed fans to get in your way. If you aren't planning on getting this game, you may be the only one.
