Is Halo: Reach going to be the end?

One statement that many people could hear and then very strongly believe is, “Halo: Reach will be Bungie’s last Halo game.” This statement, if heard by someone, could seem very true. However, despite what many people may believe, there is apparently a bit more to be completed the originally thought. The reason that people have started to think that Halo: Reach may not be the end is because of recent comments made during GamesCon 2009 by the Bungie community and by the PR director Brian Jarred.

When spoken to, Brian Jarrad said, “The clarification is we just don’t know at this point…I think there’s a lot of work just to get Reach done between now and next fall. At that point anything’s possible. We’re going to keep looking at making the games we want to make. Maybe that’s Halo. Maybe it’s not. We’ll have to wait and see.”

That is all we can do. Wait and see. We still have a very long time to wait for Halo: Reach to be available as it won’t be released until some time next year. However, Halo 3: ODST is going to be released very soon. It releases on September 22nd to be exact. Do you think Halo: Reach is going to be Bungie’s last Halo game?
