- New Rockfest mode allows you to put your skills to the test against up to four players locally or eight online.
- You will be able to import your Guitar Hero World Tour songs straight onto Guitar Hero 5 allowing you to be able to play all your downloads.
- A new feature will allow for you to create and share your own music.
