Capcom has confirmed that the classic game Marvel vs Capcom 2 is part of the Xbox Live Arcade “Summer of Arcade” promotion for the week of July 29th. Both Sony and Microsoft will be getting this game as a download. Playstation 3 gamers got a pre-release demo so that they could try out the game, but Xbox 360 gamers get an earlier release of the full version (with a possible delayed demo).
This 2D brawler is a classic, and if you get a chance to play it in a demo you should definitely take it. After playing the demo, you will be hooked and end up wanting to purchase the full version of the game. Speaking of purchasing, as part of the Xbox Live Arcade “Summer of Arcade” promotion this game will only cost you 1,200 Microsoft Points which is approximately $15.
