Valve has continued to release news about continued support for the original Left 4 Dead game and has released some new information regarding Left 4 Dead 2. This has been abnormally public with all of the Left 4 Dead 2 threatened boycotts. The following statement was made by Valve at a press conference earlier today.
“We plan to keep supporting Left 4 Dead 1. There will be some announcements coming before summer’s out about what’s coming there, and then we haven’t shown everything that’s in Left 4 Dead 2 yet.“
Valve has also confirmed a pre-release. As for Left 4 Dead 2, you will be able to get a pre-release for the game through free downloadable demo’s where gamers will be able to try the game before deciding whether to purchase it or not. This is a big move that will determine the success of the game. A failed demo, will cause a failed launch. The demo will also include a multiplayer demo to convince you that this game is as good as the hype. It will be free to download in the Xbox Live Marketplace. I will let you know when the demo is set to release later this fall.
