The 1 vs 100 beta has been out for a while, and I’ve finally gotten around to playing it. While there are a few minor differences between this and the television show, it still has the same thrill and hard questions that make the show so interesting to viewers. While you aren’t removed from the mob when you answer it wrong, you do fall behind in points and lose your streak which causes you to lose the different advantage buttons you get in the game such as a question skips. With some people actually getting 100% of the questions right, it could cost you the game.
The beta is open to any and all Xbox Live Gold member. It’s free so you don’t have to bother getting your free microsoft points to play the beta or even the full version when it’s released. The only problem with the beta is that it only plays at certain hours of the day so you need to work your schedule around these times or you won’t be able to play it for the day. The question timing is generally fast enough that you can’t even google the questions if you have friends playing right next to you. This is a solid trivia game and one of the first games which we get to use our avatars in.
If you are an xbox live silver member, you have already missed their free trial of the game. Whether they are going to release it to you guys again for free or not hasn’t been made clear. You are probably done experiencing the beta, but you should be able to receive the full version for free; however, I don’t see how you’d be able to play it without going on Xbox Live Gold and connecting with other gamers.

I tried the beta and I thought it was a pretty cool game. It should bring interest to arcade games.
