Left 4 Dead DLC

in DLC Expansions

Valve has seriously hinted at the overreaction of Left 4 Dead and Valve gamers over the announcement of Left 4 Dead 2 by starting a petition stating that they wouldn’t buy it unless one of their possible solutions were fulfilled. It appears as though Valve was keeping secrets the entire time or simply wants to make us believe they were.

The biggest problem was the fact that owners of the game hadn’t received the DLC and updates that the game was promised, and they didn’t believe that it was coming when they heard that Left 4 Dead 2 was going to be released later this year. They wanted it to be at a discounted price or expansion pack instead of an entire new game.

Valve has officially announced that there will be more information coming about the Left 4 Dead DLC and then of course the promised matchmaking update. Do these solve the problem users had with the Left 4 Dead 2 release if these happen and meet your expectations or do you still believe the release is too soon? I’m assuming the expansions aren’t going to be free though so make sure you load up on the microsoft points if you’re an Xbox 360 gamer.

I thought that whole ordeal with the boycott was a bit bogus. I knew valve would come through.
